Thank You Most Beneficent Job Creator

There will be a new order of business should Republicans re-take the white house and congress.
Mandatory Wake-up time is 5:00am. Then a cold water absolution and brushing of remaining teeth. Next, morning constitutional in communal outhouse follow. Dress in appropriate work uniform purchased with your own money. Ready the children, if any, for work in the mines or as janitors. Leave compound and walk over to job site. Punch in. A minute of tardiness costs you an hours pay. Recite the pledge of loyalty to your job creator. Start working. Listen to right wing propaganda piped in demeaning women. Work 6 hours and hope urine relief bucket passes to you soon. After 8 hours, 15 minute lunch, unpaid. Eat solent green bar and drink recycled urine-aid from bucket. Work 4 more hours. When whistle sounds line up in front of time clock. Job creator hands you your paycheck while belittling your lack of motivation. Open check. Find out that after company deductions you owe the job creator 110 dollars. Sing rousing rendition of "I love my Boss." Punch out and march back to compound. Find out children killed in mine misadventure. No time to grieve. Eat Solent Green supper and a real treat, a glass of warm water. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

The South's Rising Un-Civil War

The modern Confederate party AKA the GOP, has taken the Southern mentality and forced it on all of us. Look at the absolutely deadly stand your ground and concealed carry laws Republican right wing legislatures have enacted. Now you can be legally killed by some nut with a grudge who says he felt threatened by you. Look at the poor kid eating skittles and walking while black, his only crimes. Dead. Tennessee just passed a law banning the teaching of evolution in school. Women in Southern states have to fight tooth and nail just to get health services while being made to pay for unwanted intrusive procedures and this type of slavery is spreading. Bogus voter ID laws brought forth by billionaires and secret legislation developers. Global warming is a hoax to most Southerners. Most Southern states are right to wish to secede. We wish you would leave. You started this Un-civil war again and people who don't thump bibles don't want your interpretation of what god allegedly wants for America.
For the rest of us who think women are equal partners, unions are economically beneficial, that global warming is real, that you should believe or not believe the way you want, will not travel to your backward looking states, nor will we spend any tourist dollars there. Besides, we might get shot.

What We Have and What We Are About to Receive IF Republicans Take Control

Let's start in the past to see what Republicans have given us. Under president Reagan, we received trickle down economics. We learned ketchup was a vegetable. We traded a key shaped cake with Iran for money to fight the Contra's.
Under H.W.Bush, we got the first anti-climatical war with Iraq. The phrase "Read my hips." A phony attempt at populism with a dislike for broccoli and endorsement of pork rinds. Presidential amazement of grocery store digital scanners and puke all over the Japanese Prime Minister.
Moving into the 21st century, we started with a contested presidential election decided by a conservative supreme court. The largest attack in history on American soil. A war based on phony WMDs with a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. Insane redistribution of wealth through tax cuts for the wealthy while not funding two wars and a prescription drug plan. The housing bubble burst and the Wall Street Bailout.
What can we expect if Republicans steal total control once again? An end to women's reproductive rights. Medicare given over to Republican sugar daddy insurance companies. War with Iran. Restrictions to impede minorities from voting. The destruction of unions. Fracking run wild. Anaconda like oil pipelines filled with tar criss-crossing over water aquifers. Social Security traded on wall Street.
You gotta admit, Republicans are true visionaries. Too bad their visions are nightmares.

The New Jobs if the Republicans take over in 2013

Worse than a Mayan prediction, a possible take-over of the American presidency and congress by Republicans. Let's look at all the new jobs Republican lawmakers would create. Because after all we know Republicans are all about jobs. Insurance claims repudiators would be posting want ads. Orphanage personnel wanted after the banning of contraception. Poor house directors wanted because social security is now a Wall Street grab bag. Loan shark enforcers after Dodd-Frank is repealed. Prison guards wanted, this goes without saying. Executioners needed as we make the death penalty viable for the crime of stealing bread. Limo and private jet waxers needed to work for the new minimum wage of 2 dollars/hour. Puddle bridges; people that lay down in mud puddles so the rich can walk on top of them and not get wet or dirty. Home school assistants because public schools are too expensive to waste money on. Solent Green food processors because average income workers are only allowed to eat cake and each other.

Why Did Republicans Have to Destroy the Post Office?

First let me say that I worked as a mail carrier for over 30 years at the Post Office. I was also a union steward. Postal workers have to labor under extremely stressful conditions created by postal management in their quest to have workers do more in less time. Are postal workers well paid? Thanks to their unions postal workers, they have wages and benefits that allow them to lead middle class lives. Workers everywhere should be able to organize, form unions and win middle class benefits.
Republicans hate unions. They hate the public sector in general. To Republicans everything should be privatized. Republicans love class warfare because it is a war they are winning. They pit non-union workers against union workers by playing the divide and conquer jealousy card. They would love to have Americans working for as little as possible without any benefits whatsoever. Just look at all the senior citizens that have to work until they drop because they can't afford not to.
In 2006, Republicans passed a bill requiring the Post Office to set aside 5 billion dollars a year, to pre-fund retiree health benefits for 75 years. No other agency is forced to do this. This bill started the death spiral for the Post Office. Republicans will not fix this situation. They could very easily repeal the bill allow the money to flow back in but they won't. They hate unions and public workers. It's just that simple. So if you live in some small rural community and your medicine doesn't get delivered anymore, thank your Republican legislature.

To Big Oil the Word Enough, Doesn't Exist

One hundred thirty seven billion dollars in profit in the year 2011. Four billion in yearly tax subsidies paid for by the American taxpayer. Fracking running wild across America. EPA oversight eliminated by the Bush administration. Oil and gas found in America sold to the highest world bidder. Speculators running up the cost of gas as never before. For every penny increase in gas prices, another two hundred million dollars in profit for big oil and gas companies not allowing subsidies to be repealed. A giant anaconda like pipeline filled with oil tar the dinosaurs couldn't escape from, almost forced upon states dependent on fragile ancient aquifers. Huge spills of oil in the ocean because of inadequate maintenance of equipment. ENOUGH! Vote out all the politicians taking money from big oil sugar daddies.

Women Voters, the only Juggernaut left to end Republican Insanity!

Women and their very rights as equal citizens in America are under an assault as never before. The attacks started stealthily at first after the Republican landslide of 2010. State legislatures and governor-ships taken over by Tea Party zealots screaming Obama care is ruining America, have decided women need to reproduce at 1950's rates and be quiet about it. These bills many crafted by a single entity and distributed to red state legislators are designed to put men back in total charge. Just look at the recent hearings on contraception. The first set of hearings women weren't allowed to testify. Look at the assault on planned parenthood. Look at the infiltration of ideology even in the Walk for a Cure. Take a real good look at the so-called personhood ideology that all Republican candidates for president have endorsed. If Republicans regain the white house and congress, get ready to relive the 1950's. The Democratic party is not perfect but it is consistent in it's support of the 21st century woman. Women, by the shear force of their numbers, have it within their power to end the war that is waged against them. It is truly up to women to stop this insanity.

Back to the Past, a Republican Plan for Women Only

I wondered why would Republicans try to turn the clock back to the 1950's for women? Surely they had to realize the blow-back once women figured out they were about to become chattel under Republican regressive laws about to be enacted. I know that Republican arrogance knows no boundaries, but still. Then the epiphany. Why ancient white men are terrified that soon they will become a minority. How better to increase the ranks then ban birth control.
First let their 2010 elected state governors and legislators put forward bills saying conception begins at the first twinkle in a man's eye. Then have all your Republican presidential candidates sign onto a personhood ideology. Finally bring out your right wing radio and television propagandists to say basically women are sluts if they hold back from having children. You know the very same propagandists that said they would leave the country if Obama care passed. We're still waiting for you to leave. Obviously not men of your word. Maybe you should stick to making fun of people with debilitating diseases. More your style.
